and at other times by appointment. Please contact the rectory and speak to a parish priest to make arrangements.

Pre-Jordan Class

Baptism preparation class for expectant parents.Held on the second Monday of each month, at 7:00 pm in a classroom by the school library. Please call the rectory to register.(Godparents are welcome)

Marriage

Arrangements must be made at least six months prior to a wedding date. To make arrangements, please call the rectory to speak to a priest.

Sacrament of the Sick

Given to the seriously ill or to those about to undergo surgery. Administered by the parish priest. Call the rectory to arrange to receive the sacrament.

Confessions

Saturday from 4:00 pm to 4:45 pm or any time by calling the rectory. 

LENTEN REGULATIONS 2018

WEEKDAYS OF LENT

There is no obligation to fast. However, voluntary acts of self-denial are recommended.


ASH WEDNESDAY AND GOOD FRIDAY

These are days of Fast and abstinence from meat. 

There is a limit of one full meal on these days for all between the ages of 18 and 59 inclusive.


DAYS OF ABSTINENCE: (ALL FRIDAYS IN LENT)

All who have reached their 14th year are bound to abstain totally from meat.


EASTER DUTY OBLIGATION:

After they have received their First Holy Communion, Catholics are bound by the obligation of receiving Holy Communion at least once a year. this precept should be fulfulled during theEaster Season. Catholics are also bound to confess serious (mortal) sins at least once a year, but this is not limited ti the Lenten/Easter Season.
